AI Trust

AI offers an unprecedented opportunity for organizations to improve productivity and remain competitive. But there are risks that can expose organizations to mistrust, brand devaluation or even litigation. Biased data, privacy, transparency, and ethics are just a few areas of concern. How can you trust AI to act in a responsible manner?

AI can be trusted — but only with the right measures, mitigations and third party validation. We believe that if you can measure trust in AI, you can manage it and confidently harness the “new energy” of artificial intelligence.

AI Trust is our cause.

When the company was formed in 2018, we recognized that AI would transform our world at an unprecedented pace. While this powerful new technology offered tremendous potential, it would also present unique and evolving risks. So we set upon our mission to empower organizations to harness the power of AI responsibly — mitigating risk to build a future where AI would be a force for good.

We knew that if AI governance was going to be effective, it needed to extend beyond compliance into the needs of the organization and be practical for specific use cases. It had to provide answers to questions of Responsibility, Accountability and Transparency — the foundation of good governance.

Don’t wait for things to go wrong. For effective AI governance, compliance isn’t enough.

AI must be trusted — trusted to do its job ethically and effectively, without subjecting organizations to undue risk.

But trust is complicated. It extends beyond compliance to legislation and policies. It is heavily affected by the intentions of the organization, expectations of the audience and use case.

The good news is that if you can measure it, you can manage it. Trust can be measured by asking the right questions, taking measures and performing mitigations over time.

“AI Trust” can be adopted into any organization — a practical process to score or index performance over time as mitigations are employed and new AI models are released. It becomes obvious the requirement for AI trust extends beyond IT into the organization and stakeholders. We created a platform that not only helps assessment teams test and reliably measure trust in AI but also manages use case projects and documents information that leadership and oversight can monitor AI through the evaluation process and during deployment.

Our offering, the Machine Trust Platform™, is now a reality through the hard work of our faculty of experts, our software development teams and intensive real-world testing by early adopting customers who can now say with confidence, AI can be trusted.
