NuEnergy.ai is a growing technology company with new clients and we are excited to bring on a skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our AI Governance solutions. This role is part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automated test suites to validate the functionality and quality of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks for NuEnergy AI governance software
- Collaborate with the Product Management and Development teams to ensure testability and identify areas for test automation
- Contribute to test planning and strategy discussions, including test case creation and test coverage analysis
- Execute automated tests to validate the functionality, performance and security of NuEnergy software products
- Monitor and report test results including defect identification and documentation
Continuously enhance and optimize automated test scripts and frameworks for efficiency and effectiveness - Stay current with industry best practices in test automation and incorporate them into NuEnergy testing process
- Contribute to fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture across the organization and particularly a culture of innovation, code quality and continuous improvement within the development team
Required Education, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in test automation with a focus on cloud and software application testing
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, React Testing Library, Appium, TestNG, JUnit)
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript - Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work constructively in an office team environment, as well as a virtual team environment
